As a UX/UI designer, I collaborated with Traversals to refine and enhance the usability of their digital products. My role involved designing new features and optimizing existing ones to facilitate better user interaction. The goal was not merely aesthetic enhancement, but primarily to ensure a seamless, intuitive experience for users navigating through the complex landscape of information Traversals provides.
Working on the Traversals project involved managing complex user interactions. The task at hand was to create an interface that allowed users to filter and sort current news based on numerous parameters, such as domain, location, and language. The challenge lay in displaying the relationships between different events concerning the same topic in a comprehensible manner. It was also essential to build collaboration capabilities into the platform to enable a team of users to share events and engage in discussions seamlessly. A considerable amount of groundwork, involving process diagrams, mind maps, and tables, was fundamental to guide informed decisions about the interface design.
